Weight Loss Help Blog Carnival: Quick Weight Loss Tips for July 15, 2009

by Ryan on July 15, 2009

Welcome to the July 15, 2009 edition of a weight loss and diet carnival.  Every week I’ll be accepting submissions related to weight loss.  I’ll review them and approve some of them that I feel might benefit you.

We had a really nice turn out of submissions for this weeks carnival!  There are a variety of topics covered, some including:  meal planning, knowing your body mass index, a list of super foods, and a lot of other great helpful weight loss information.  Browse through the posts and hopefully they provide you with some great value.  Let me know what you think of this weeks blog carnival by submitting a comment at the bottom of this post.  I’ll be adjusting the types of entries I accept based on your feedback.

Steve Faber presents What is the Correct Weight for Height, And is it Really? posted at Belly Fat LoserAlthough it is widely used by insurance companies and health care practitioners, the BMI as a measurement for weight has a major flaw. It does not look at body composition, only the weight with relation to height. That means that a very physically fit individual could be deemed overweight, even though they have an extremely low body fat level.

FizzSoda presents A Quick Guide To Finding A Good Cosmetic Surgeon | Smart Lipo Directory posted at Smart LiposuctionSo you have finally decided to look for a good cosmetic surgeon to work on improving your appearance. However, finding the right surgeon may be a daunting task. Here is a brief rundown on finding a good cosmetic surgeon.

Kizie presents The truth about fat burners posted at Kizie blogSurely you have heard about fat burners, products that promise (quick) solution to your problem with the excess body fat. Some of you have positive experience with such products, while some others have came to the conclusion, that this makes only your wallet thinner.

RichPargeter presents 4 Reasons Why Diets Don’t Work posted at Diet Free Weight Loss – Helping You Ditch The Diets For GoodIf you’ve been on diets before you’ll know that although they do
produce results in the short term, very few diets will allow you to
maintain that weight loss. Worse than that the majority of dieters end up bigger than they
were when they first started. Frustrating isn’t it?

RichPargeter presents Sorry to Burst The Bubble? Miracle Cures Don?t Exist posted at Diet Free Weight Loss – Helping You Ditch The Diets For GoodIf you were to believe everything that you read in the papers and see on TV I would forgive you for thinking that there are numerous MIRACLE CURES FOR WEIGHT LOSS out there…

presents Weekly Menu Planner posted at Home Life Weekly, saying, “This menu planner to help you succeed in diet by planing for meals in advance.”

Trevor Watkinson presents How To Eat McDonald’s For 30 Days Without Getting Fat: Day 30 posted at SaveYourSweat.com Blog, saying, “I lost 16.0 lbs in 30 days while eating nothing but McDonald’s food. Want to know how?”

Jacob Inman presents Superfoods: You Are What You Eat posted at Revive Your LifeMost health-conscious individuals know that their family medical histories (i.e. genetics) are a major determinant of their overall risk of developing serious health issues. But, of the risk factors we have control over, which is the most important?
